Rafael Tacaki is a classically trained pianist with a rich international background and a lifelong dedication to music, having started playing at the age of eight. Originally from Brazil, he earned his degree in Piano Performance from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná.
He later pursued advanced studies in the United States at Sam Houston State University and completed his Master of Music at the University of Massachusetts Fine Arts Center.
His musical journey has included formative experiences at East Ridge High School and professional work with institutions such as the Houston Grand Opera. Rafael currently serves as Music Director at Fair Haven Houston, where he continues to share his passion and artistry through leadership and performance.
